Who we are…
Walkers Fine Art started out as an idea to bring local artists together, a place where a small community could enjoy the arts that are usually celebrated further a field in cities like Chester, Liverpool and beyond. We began this venture with one goal in mind, to create a space for artists by artists removing the sometimes corporate, disconnected attitude that some galleries have. From a room full of furniture to a beautiful open space filled with art lining the walls we have come a long way and only strive to continue on this journey towards a community space that is loved by the public and artists who circulate within it.
We believe that art is one of the most important and beautiful ways of expressing ones self and this is why we strive to exhibit artwork in all forms, sell limited edition prints and works to help drive the creative economy and encourage budding artists to learn through classes and workshops in our space. We believe that every artist deserves a spot in the light and every creative deserves a space to learn and discover themselves. So why not come in, see the wonderful works of local and international artists or come join in with one of our still life or painting classes to learn something new or simply soak in the beauty of the space with a sound bath or yoga class whilst surrounded by art.
